I have 2 sets of 20 inch OEM foundry wheels for sale
One has no TPMS installed and the other has the US TPMS installed.
You will have to remove the TPMS sensors and valve stems from your vehicle and fit to the 20 inch rims to keep this function if installing on a Australian model.
The 1st set...
GT350 Exhaust
Sounds great.
We have the touring cat back, which is quite quiet in the car, Much quieter in the car than our 2015 with the Corsa extreme in the US.
Still sounds good when you get on it.
Excellent for a daily driver but still sounds way better than stock.
Extremely happy with...
Sounds better
Finally got the GT350 valance and exhaust fitted.
AWSOME!!!!!
We did have to cut the rear mount brackets off and tig them on in the correct place on both sides, as tail pipes didn't line up very well with the valance.
Everything fitted well with no problems.
GT350 valance and Ford/Borla exhaust
Has any one fitted this package to a Euro/Aussie spec car yet.
Have one coming and looking to benefit from the wisdom of some one who already fitted one and if there were any issues.
Wheels
We have a holiday house in the US and purchased a few sets while over there earlier this year.
They are not cheap to get them back here with the dollar but we like them and they are OEM
I am going back over at the end of the month and may look for some more.
PM me if you are...
Cut about 40 mm off top of plate and redrilled holes to suit the slimline plate.
Not very hard if you have the tools and took about 10 minutes.
We cut the bracket where the vertical edge stops and the angle towards the bottom starts
The most time was spent measuring and squaring everything up.
Finally delivery
Picked car up Yesterday.
Dealer did a great job.
Just need some time to go out and play.
Will be a fight with the wife as to who drives.
Car arrived at dealer finally
Let me know if the meet works out as we should be in the new beast finally on Tuesday.
Container is on the water will lots of goodies for the new toy.
Will drop off 20" wheels for dealer to fit tomorrow and will post photos next week
Tamerlane, Last port of call
Waiting for a Fremantle delivery at last.
WA= wait awhile again.
But it will be worth it.
Stocking up on goodies in the US at present.:amen:
Still waiting.
Talked to dealer and we finally have a build date of late March.
Looked at the cars in McInerney ford in Perth and they have definitely taken all of the goodies available in the US out of the cars.
Sad to see we don't even get collision avoidance which is a great safety...
OEM wheels
Got them off a forum member from the US.
They were shipped across in the trunk of my 1968 Mercury Monterey.
By the time you pay customs duty, shipping and exchange rate they are not cheap but there won't be many here i guess.
I will be back in the US late March and can look for...
Have parts no idea about car
Finally got the 20 inch OEM wheel package in last week.
Exhaust and a number of goodies on their way.
But Ford cannot tell me when my car will arrive.
Snafu as always in Australia :frusty:
If anyone wants to have a look PM me and i am in the northern suburbs...
The long wait
Magnetic GT manual ordered from McInerney ford April 2015.
Delivery sometime in 2016 ?????
The car is well worth the wait as we have owned one in the US since late last year.
Will have the 20 inch wheel pack, Corsa exhaust and a few other goodies here next month but no...
Yeah,
But how many midlife crisis's are you allowed to have.
We are all kids at heart, that want a new toy.
I just accept that now, no more crisis's just more toys.
I wish I was in my 20's, can't even say I feel like I was 20.
But the auto in sport mode is not entirely unlike driving a manual.
Having said that we ordered a Manual for Australia.
May live to regret it with the traffic in Perth!!!
Hand brake
Just tried it on our 2015 and it is no big deal other than not looking correct.
The handbrake is a lot studier than the 2008 Shelby that I have in Perth.
Whilst there is the side loading issue not a biggie.
You can reach it easily and it is slightly awkward.
No different than all...
Here in the US what you would consider V8 central there is a lot of ecoboosts being sold.
Way more than I would have expected, people over here are looking at gas mileage as well.
Still we pay only 70 cents a liter in here Oregon
Did 1800 miles last weekend to LA and back.
Fabulous Fords was great 1850 fords in one place.
Car ran great and no issues with exhaust other than starting it up at 5.30 am on Monday morning in a hotel parking lot and waking someone up I guess.
Exhaust sounds great but is loud when you get on it...
