Hey folks! I have low confidence in installing camber plates. Can you please tell me if this is properly installed? These are BMR camber plates, BMR SP083 springs on FRPP struts. The top bolt isn't going any further.

Looks congruent with directions. However, how many threads engaged? Did the kit not come with a simple nut instead of the flared version?

Kit didn’t come with any. Used OEM nuts. But it’s completely threaded in.

Call BMR direct they are the people to ask. BMR makes quality parts that are built like a tank. I have used many of their parts over the years and they will answer and address any of your concerns.

You gotta run them suckers down with an impact. Did you install the correct spacer that goes under that nut. Says it comes with two diff sizes.

yep used correct spacer (bigger one for FRPP and stock struts). I will call BMR and check with them once.

What I learned with that front strut nut is that you tighten it down best you can without the 10mm wrench slipping. IOW don't tighten it that much and it will certainly not be to final torque.

Then after installing the strut back into the car you can torque it to final value. For whatever reason it holds still there.

Yep, I have done it before. The weight of the car compresses it and it doesn’t freely rotate as it does with a spring compressor outside.
