I'm having an alignment check for a little unusual tire wear (maybe not unusual on these cars). If I decide to make changes in the camber should I do plates or are the camber bolts reliable. It's a street car, might see a drag strip a few times but nothing hardcore. Are there camber plates that are a better choice over others, from looking they seem similar and prices don't vary all that much. Don't need the best but don't want buy junk to save a few bucks either! Thanks Jim

You didn’t mention if you dropped ride height.
I’m running Steeda Ultralite linear 1.5” Drop with no camber plates or bolts.
Tire wear is even for 3 year now and I daily drive the car.
It’s all in the person doing the alignment.
Are you dropped more than 1.5” ?

stock ride height , will wait for alignment results before doing any thing else. It has been suggested that the MP4S have a tendency to wear like these are, scalloped on each front inner rib.

I posted the alignment spec in your tire thread.
It’s not the tires. It’s Toe if everything else is in excellent working order.

I'd say check the toe to correct the wear but if you want straight-line performance then you don't need more than stock camber. If you road-course then you need camber plates. If not...save the $$$.
