Not a bad looking car.

I can’t speak for others but I’ve come across a few of there vehicles at my Dyno tuners shop. None of them ran correctly. I was really surprised they’d ship a vehicle with dash lights on and not rectified.

Exactly. I've had early Dodge Vipers for at least 25 years. Hennessy was banned from the VCA forum, and there were many folks scammed with cars that didn't make the HP numbers promised. I recall one owner who's car sat way too long in the shop with parts being removed and sold.

I always wondered about the Hennessey Viper Venom. I read a number of negative articles, when I researched them for a used one I was thinking of buying. I decided to pass. I guess I dodged a bullet?

I think the car ultimately was sold on BAT for a lot more than I would have paid.

It's currently happening with ecoboost raptors. Also their gen 1 raptors are famous for burning down despite them doing nothing but bolting a roush blower on, and roush trucks don't catch on fire. They produce garbage and charge astronomical prices for it
