Anyone who thinks about 10 sq/ft of colored vinyl makes the car what it is deserves to be fooled. Just my opinion.
I agree with you 100%. That’s why I said to each his own. I remember back around 2005 when everybody wanted to debadge their car. To your point, the informed will know it’s still a M1 but the every day person who just likes cars might not know what it is.

I just saw this the other day. I think it looks pretty good.

Wow, that M1 looks really good. Just shows Ford knocked it out of the park with the M1, looks fantastic w/ or w/o decals.

Personally, I like the red striped M1 decals the most, so I wouldn't remove those.

I had planned on removing the decals when my M1 came in--but my wife said she likes them, so I kept them.

But my hood was just repainted, so I had a few weeks without the decal. The hood vents were much more noticeable, but I did miss the decal. So it's back on now because I like the way it looks.

I want this look so bad............. Am considering a FJG wrap on my Bullitt........... If I could have ordered a M1 like this I may have traded my 2020 Bullitt for one, but I am sticking with what I have.... Still considering the wrap thoug.

I’ve got a FJG Mach and have been considering removing only the hood decal which still hasn’t grown on me yet. Won’t make that decision until I do PPF because they have to take it off anyways and put back on over the film if I want to keep it. Unsure and wife is saying leave it alone so…
FJG does not require taking off decals to PPF. Not only do I have STEK over my FJG w/decals, the decals have survived having the PPF removed and reinstalled. My parking neighbor tagged the rear of my car and, thank goodness, even though the PPF was completely torn thru, it did its job, and there was no damage to the paint. Old PPF came off and didn't do a thing to the decals.

Actually the added contrasts completely change the cars. Red/black, blue/black/white, gray/orange. It's not for everyone, sure. This is easy fix if you want to have just the colour.

My feeling is that there's too much colour on stripe-less cars, it drowns in it somewhat, and the added contrasts match everything else perfectly (matte black ftw!). And I definitely like these vinyls more than variations of classic stripes. But the combo always depends on the colour, for some it works better, for some less.

Do it. I don't think it's a good idea for all the colors, but black and FJG look good "nakey". LOL.

I removed all of mine. I didnt like the white on the purple. I removed the fender badges as well. Left the Mach1 on the rear. Had i gotten black Id have removed the hood stripe, gotten red calipers, and left the side stripes. I dont like that much matte black on any color really.
