If you cover up the tags that much in Oregon, you get a ticket.

I got the license plate bracket and it too came with the screw covers, but I got the Ford ones already. I like the ford ones better.

I did get an extra license plate bracket as I was going to use it on the front too, but I decided to go with a clear cover and they don't work together. So, if someone is local, PM me. $20 and it's yours.

So if your are not transferring plates from your pervious car (I'm not) I'll just overlay the frame on the plate before I put on the stickers... but if ya are transferring, that frame may be an issue.

I know this is an old post but I need some advice! I just got my rear license plate frame today (pony 50 years frame). Before I installed it I realized that I don't want to put this bare metal frame on the painted bumper without some kind of cushion.

So my question is what material could I use to stick to the back of this frame or on the car where it will go to keep it from rubbing the paint??

I just put 1/4 spacers between the frame and the body. It looks good and does not hit.

Put some heavy duty self stick foam or insulator to the back of your plate... That will also prevent rattles if you like to turn up the bass[emoji1]

I used double-sided tape:

If it doesn't move, there won't be any rattle (and no wear marks on the paint). :)
