Adding an in-dash CD player?

(Apologies if these questions have been answered elsewhere... If so, I couldn't find them...)

I've been caught flat-footed with the '23 order banks being closed in (ahem) 2022. Since the '24 EcoBoost won't be offered with a manual transmission, I'm looking for a '22 or '23 convertible with a manual in existing stock.

One problem I have — granted, a first-world one — is that I still have a ton of CDs, and getting what I want with the B&O stereo (the only one with a CD player) isn't so easy.

I know very little about car stereo. So, two questions:

1) Can an aftermarket shop add in-dash CD capability to a Mustang that doesn't have one?

2) And/or, can you swap in the B&O face that includes the CD slot?

EDIT: I know I can burn the CDs. I'm specifically asking about adding an in-dash CD player.

Adding the B&O will be problematic. Just burn the discs to FLAC or other lossless onto a thumb-drive play it through the USB. Thats what I do.

First, good luck finding a 6MT Ecoboost Convertible. I looked for a long time and I saw nothing remotely interesting.

Second, I cannot conceive of replacing a Sync 3 with an after market head unit since the sync 3 also has car control/settings stuff.

Third, Just rip the CDs already. I have ripped a 1000+ CDs. It's painless.

You will be better off learning how to rip your CD's to high quality Flac or variable bit rate MP3's and put them on a large enough memory stick. Imagine your entire CD library stored in a device the size of your thumb nail. Tech has come a long way.
I use a program called "Exact Audio Copy" because I am old school. I'm pretty sure Windows10/11 have easier options for ripping CD's now.

Just wondering why some of us insist on giving advice the OP clearly doesn't want? He knows all about flash drives and has clearly said he is not interested. Some folks just like the OG. CD's are the new vinyl.

The op may not know of a simpler way to manage his TUNEs.

Seems really logical to use the thumb drive in a car, for a multitude of reasons.

I use my BO CD player because I am too lazy to rip things to USB, plus I can never find the right USB to begin with when driving. Plus its impossible to navigate the USB when full of ripped CDs, at least for me. The dash menu never works, or is laggy.
CD in, play, enjoy the drive.
