Hey guys,
Today I went to get my car dynoed and thought about starting a thread specifically for Dynos. If you could include the following info:
Type of engine
Type of Dyno
Wheel Horsepower
Torque
Any mods
I will go first.
v8
Mustang Dyno
360 wheel horsepower
347 Torque
Ford racing Touring CatBack
I am not one with much experience with dyno but I do believe that there is a difference betweem Mustang Dyno and Dynojet. I was told by the shop that the is about an 18% difference in readings between dynos and that Mustang Dynos usually read lower than Dyno Jet. If this holds true (please someone confirm this), that means that I in a Dyno jet, I should be at 424.8 wheel horsepower. Please chime in all you want that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
