It’s my understanding oil slick blue purple pearl and mischievous purple are the same color, others more knowledgeable than me would know for sure.

I checked Dr Colorchip. They don’t list by year make model but a search for P2 finds it. Automotive touchup claims if it a multi stage paint they will send multiple products for the different stages. They have code P2 but call it oil slick. I had read Ford changed the name but since the color code is the same would assume color is the same.

They did change the name. As long as the paint code matches, that’s all that matters. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. I did some rock chip touch ups on my 2016 triple yellow S550. It blended in well but I always knew where they were because I’m kinda anal like that LOL. But 99.99% of people wouldn’t even know. MP might be a little harder but if the touch up paint is available it might be worth a shot.

I also missed it the first time around.

The unique properties of the color, the way it changes color in different lighting and at different angles could make it harder or easier to disguise.

Yeah and some of those scratches are pretty big so if the touch up doesn’t match right you’ll likely notice. The good thing is touch up kits aren’t super expensive so you could try that first and if you don’t like the way it looks, you can take it to a body shop to have them do it.
