I saw a few S550's in at the car show with side scoops. A few different styles were on display, but the one that I liked most was the Roush. I know these are for pure aesthetics. I'm torn because I've always made my choices based on function over form, but they remind me of my 68 GT. Be brutally honest.

The pic below is not my car but It's my color.

I dont think it looks bad. I personally like the front fender vents like on the GT350 better, but as far as side scoops go, its look ok

In general, I am not a fan of non-functional scoops, but my 2020 CA Special has them from the factory. I am a bit torn by them and even considered pulling them off, but figure that this is a homage to the original CA Special which also had fake scoops. Honestly, I would not add them, but having said that, they do look good and it is your car, so if you like them, go for it!

They dont look bad, but they have no function, so why? Also like a mini parachute

I personally don't like them. They look too much like a stick on piece. I have seen them on some cars and they look ok but most of the time they're not visually seamless enough. Kinda reminds me of the fake hood scoops people put on anything. lol

They look dumb on this body style. Don't do it.

This is why I'm torn. I've seen them a few times, up close. As I feel like the Roush one is nice, it still has that fake stick on body panel look. But I still like it. Then again, Ford went crazy with all of the exterior ABS valances and accoutrements on the S550's.

Entertained the thought myself, was as far I went. So I got the fuel door cause at least it has a purpose.

Doug, if you like them, do it. Modding is the soul of the Mustang. Go with your heart, not your head.
