Amusing Reactions to your Mach 1

My 7 year old grandson on seeing it for the first time - “ Is it a race car ?”

I've gotten the same thing from a couple young kids. A guy that lives in my building and races dirt bikes on the weekends has a young son who just got his first minibike. When I first drove past them with the Mach 1, the young boy pointed and exclaims "race car" with a big grin on his face.

I came out the grocery store and this older biker guy was standing outside his car looking at my Mach 1. He said nice Mach 1, what’s it got, a 350? I told him no, it’s about a 305. Then he starts telling me how cars now days don’t have the power of the 60’s muscle cars, not built as well. His 68 350 Chevelle would put them to shame. Just told him to have a nice day, put my exhaust in track mode and blew out of there.

You should have screwed with him a bit, and told him it was electric but the v8 simulator sounds great.
