how does the ppf look around the hood decal

OK - I took some pictures. I had to use a flashlight and shed the light horizontally from the side to expose the PPF - here it is:

In regular light it looks like below - hardly can be seen:

We are still very slowly working on a solution to that problem. It would go much faster if I had a local M1 to work with. Sorry everyone…. It’ll be here eventually.

The PPF job looks great.

Several of us were concerned how PPF would look surrounding the decals. IMO, if installed well, it's a non-issue. It's not obvious. I still have a hard time finding where the PPF starts and ends of different body panels. I have to tilt my head and get the reflection right to see it sometimes.

When it comes to PPF I was also sooo worried about how it looked and will my car look like a baggy condom and just not be the car i loved and paid for etc blah blah.


I barely notice it......


I have to point out the few seems to people (a pillars, rocker panels) and they go

"oh didn't even see it or yeah that looks fine."


My coworker didn't even realize she had PPF from dealership on her truck when I pointed it out.

people are looking at all the other things that make up the mach 1 with all its beauty, bird nest wheels, giant stripes, giant ass spoiler...

Get a reputable company to do their job and you'll be perfectly fine.

Steeda x. Sounds amazing in track mode. No drone and easily cut the weight in half. Amd if you go by steedas dyno sheets it gained me 9 hp. Lol.

Just got the ford performance hood struts on. Should have come this way instead of a stupid hood prop.

also love the grabber blue reflection in the EG.

Had the Roush H pipe installed the other day and it sounds wicked. I thought it wouldn’t make that much of a difference based of some videos I watched, but it is night and day. Also installed the RTR hood vents tonight and I think it looks really good with the stripe.

I like the vents. Do the look like water intrusion would be an issue at all?
