I really like it and it rides good. Owner before me bought this new and stored it. It is incredibly clean. This was my childhood dream car growing up and I can’t believe I got one.
I have not. I literally put the wheels/tires on and the filter and then stuck it back into the garage for storage. Won't be driving it till about next April unfortunately.
Swapped my steering wheel to the GT350 one today. Only issue I ran into was the steering wheel bolt being totally different. Thought is was a 24mm bolt but it turned out to be a T50 hex head one. All controls work and I threw on a white center overlay. Such a better look and feel over the stock...
Found a set of Michelin tires and got them mounted to my rims. 305’s in the front and 315’s in the rear. Car looks so much more aggressive now. Also swapped the air intake with the blue Airraid one.
I do not believe the buttons on there now will work and are meant for the 350 models only. I am swapping over the entire assembly from my current wheel and essentially just using the shell of the 350 wheel.
Got my new GT350 steering wheel today. Having the heated wheel is nice, but I will
Never use it as this is a summer car only. A small price to pay for a way better look and feel!
Got my new set of rims in. I went with the OEM PP2 wheels in matte black. 19x10.5 for the front and 19x11 in the rear. It’s the same style I have now but black and wider. I like the look of these over the handling pack wheels.
Will be looking at getting tires over the next few months as the car...
I had 3 challenger scat packs before. A standard one, then a shaker and then a Widebody T/A. Loved the Widebody but the motor blew up at 1k miles. The customer service is what drove me over the edge (it was terrible) and I ended up selling it after getting it fixed. Then I got my Mach 1.
Not that I can tell. They sit pretty flush with the hood. When I took off the factory heat vents I had small rocks and dirt under them and the car has under 500 miles on it. So I think no matter what, stuff will get in them.
Had the Roush H pipe installed the other day and it sounds wicked. I thought it wouldn’t make that much of a difference based of some videos I watched, but it is night and day. Also installed the RTR hood vents tonight and I think it looks really good with the stripe.
I put on the front wheel lip moulding’s and my custom license plate last night. Install was pretty straight forward and didn’t have to remove the wheels. Just jacked up the car a little and gave me better access to all the push clips. Needs wider tires now for sure to fill it out, just not sure...
Put on the OEM GT500/Mach 1 HP rear splash guards today. They didn’t come with any instructions and I couldn’t find anything online on how to install them. You have to take the push pins out of the rear liner and it exposes two bolts that need to be undone and the splash guard goes behind the...
Just got mine tinted the other day and also did the GT500 spoiler. Tint is 20% on the sides and back and I did a 5% brow on the windshield. Spoiler was super easy to install once I got the original one off. Have the rear GT500 splash guards I plan to do next.
