I'm thinking about converting my 2016 base GT's single zone AC to Dual zone (btw I already did the sync 3 from 4" screen). Ngl I don't even know where to start I was hoping to find a thread on it but unfortunately I had no luck. So if there's anyone out there who knows how to do it or if it's even possible your help would be very greatly appreciated. Even a half formed thought would help, thanks everyone.

Good morning and welcome to the forum.

All Mustangs are single zone. I believe you are asking about changing from manual to automatic climate control. Unfortunately I do not remember this ever being discussed on here. I’ll try and dig a little deeper and will post if I find anything.

I would think separate controls for the passenger and driver qualifies as dual-zone.

Is there some semantic reason why it wouldn't?

Thanks for posting. The second I saw your post I realized that my comment wasn’t quite correct. I asked about years ago when I had my 15’ EB. I was told that, yes there are separate temperature controls but that it is not a true dual zone system. Since I never had the manual system I never questioned it.

I think this is what my dealer was talking about.

I am sure the process is buried in the Forescan thread. There are several on here who have done the conversion that will likely chime in shortly.

I was going to do the switch you mention until I decided to ditch the radio.
