That sucks. I was hoping just upgrading the pump & good injectors would be enough to cover me.On E70 I think a return style fuel system is going to be nearly mandatory?

@Brad1810r80 seems to be doing just fine without a return style setup so that’s good! I guess it will be tuner dependent on which system is needed. That sucks. I was hoping just upgrading the pump & good injectors would be enough to cover me.
That’s not how it works on a supercharger. Turbo, yes.Do they or will they ever offer an X version impeller for the G2 like they do for the G3? Not all of us are trying to get to that 1k horsepower digits, but faster spooling is always nice!
Well I figured some 1050's, the fuel pump they offer & a bap would get the job done. Don't really want to run a fuel system unless I'm going full balls to the wall. If I have to settle for 750 whp I'll do that.@Brad1810r80 seems to be doing just fine without a return style setup so that’s good! I guess it will be tuner dependent on which system is needed.
Never had a centri, kinda figured that's why they use the X trim impeller on the G3.That’s not how it works on a supercharger. Turbo, yes.
Who tuned your car if you don't mind me asking.I run e85 on the 125 and 120mm , dw415, bap and fuel rails. Fuel looks great
It’s just more durable when you pulley down and force it to spin faster. The blades can bend vs crack and break under stress.Never had a centri, kinda figured that's why they use the X trim impeller on the G3.
Ok thank you, good to know. It’s just more durable when you pulley down and force it to spin faster. The blades can bend vs crack and break under stress.
Right on, thanks. I'll keep them in mind.Oz tuning
I did it on a bap and e54 a budget 800wheel build is easy with this setupYeah I'll be running pump E85 mostly which is like 70 in my neck of the woods. Maybe add headers down the line & full 3" exhaust & be done with it. I'm hoping to get that accomplished with out having to redo the whole fuel system. Trying go for a budget build.
I should be good with 70% then. It's only option my local pumps have. E85 or bust here.I did it on a bap and e54 a budget 800wheel build is easy with this setup
G3 with a 120mm pulley on a Mach 1 should be in that 650 area on pump gas. shouldnt need more than maybe LU47s and a BAP if planning to stay on 91/93. I would just use the stock pump.I have read probably 100 of the 176 pages of this thread. I see a lot of different fuel set ups. Some are maybe at the edge of ok, and some are maybe overkill, with everything in between. I have a Mach 1 ordered (that i hope i get!) and would like to sort this out.
I dont plan on doing OPG/CS. I will likely do MAK pipes and not headers. Wont port the IM or TB.
Obviously there is an M1 specific kit that includes the G3. I would like to end up about 650-700hp. I can get 93 locally but have concerns getting it for road trips. Its a bit sketchy in KS and MO where i spend most of my time.
So i am contemplating 125 mm on 91 and drive around on 92/93 when i can vs 120 mm on 93 (take octanium cans with me on trips). On either of those between 650 and 700 hp, and knowing i wont go over that power without building a shortblock for boost, (which i may never do), what are my fueling needs with a reasonable bit of safety net?
Thinking GT500 injectors and VMP BAP only. Happy to do a DW400 instead of, or with the BAP if needed. Id spin the 7 lb pulley to 7750 to make 8ish lbs. I would leave the 8 lb pulley at 7500 and maybe make 8.4ish i would think.
Thanks all!
