You spend to much time worrying about what others are buying, what they paid, what they sold it for, who sold it, who bid on it,,,,,,,,,,,, For fxcks sake….:rain:
I agree... I could not give a rats A$$ what other people do with their money. I am sure there is someone seeing me in my GT350 and thinking: "Why would anyone spend $65,000.00 on a toy? The rich bastard has more money than sense"... as he/she drives back to their rented single-wide in their 1988 Escort with 435,000 miles.

It's all relative.

Judging others for what they do with their money proves the person judging is an idiot.

Completely agree. One of my things is when the conversation goes that way, no matter where you are in life there is someone that perceives themselves as below and would gladly trade positions.

first - you both completely missed the point, I clearly stated that people can spend on what they like. This is a forum / and it’s about the prices of these cars / I simply (not simply enough I guess!) was saying that it makes the venue and whole situation seem a little shady when you have people who don’t realistically intend to buy the cars, shilling the bids. I also went on to say that it might not really matter but it was just a point of conversation.

you guys spend way to much time coming on a car forum, then into a post about prices - then saying that we shouldn’t be talking about car prices - lol. Tell you what - let me know what else you want to talk about and I’ll be all over it. Jesus.

Sorry, you’re attempting to stir the pot, argue both sides, whatever. The rest, talk about the pot calling the kettle black, and look up the definition of schill bidding. What your trying to stir the pot with now on the selling side is NOT schill bidding. Schill bidding is a seller bidding on his/her own item, or colluding with another to do so.

yes I used the wrong term.
“Its original use was to describe a person who acted as a swindler’s accomplice by reacting in an enthusiastic way in order to encourage others, often as an audience member at a carnival in order to elicit interest in an attraction.”
To me - if you’re bidding on something with the intention of benefiting in some way other than the possibility of winning the auction - it’s a shill. Maybe there’s a better word - pump cones to mind.

im just having a conversation. You’re saying it’s an argument but I thought it was a civil “what if” chat. If we’re not here to talk about this stuff then why are we here?

Shame on you for “completely missing the point”. 😂

The man can’t use terms correctly and yet you are the problem. 😂

You should be ashamed of yourself…😆🙃🙃🙃

You and I know your not having a “conversation”. If you want to talk about Gt’s, Gt350S, Gt350R’s, Gt500’s, etc. Cool. Lets have it. If you want to discuss why a particular car may or may not have performed as well or the opposite in a particular sale, cool as well. The rest is complete …, because your simply attempting to invalidate the merits and conclusion to whatever particular sale your referencing at the time for whatever reason. It’s all good though, negativity from an outside source is one of the few things in life we can chose to let in or tune out. Carry on, as I’m sure you will. :headbang:

For f**ksake, will all of you thin skinned opinionated assholes take it elsewhere.
Considering how upset you sound - your comment is pretty funny.

I mean that would be a killer BAT add! Might fetch more cause of the great story. :)
sounds risky. I’d have to make sure the reserve was set!
