Hello David,

I see what transpired now that I see your email address & was able to search it. The email came in during normal business hours (to sales) - I forwarded your email to our sales team to follow up with the timing. That was at 5:34 p.m.

On Friday, . - you sent a follow-up to me after business hours (early a.m.). Again, after I send the initial email to our sales team - based on our workflow, they are responsible for following up.

I don't have the visibility into our inventory system as the sales team does - so, unfortunately, based on this request, I had to lean on them to provide that follow-up.

As mentioned, we are not "ignoring" emails - we have checks & balances when emails come in & when they are routed to the sales team, they work to communicate the follow-up to the customer.

This particulate situation took a couple of days longer to respond to as the email that came in on Saturday may not have been assigned to the sales representative on-site.

I apologize for not following up on this & will look into our processes to see how we can improve the line of communication.

You gotta be careful with endlink choices, MOST of the heim joints/ rod ends companies use get very noisy, lots of popping and clunking. Unfortunately we dont make S550 endlinks yet so i cant sell you on mine, but id suggest getting a non adjustable set unless you're crazy low. Just my $.02

Thanks! I have Magneride on a Bullitt (PP1) and lowered only about .5" compared to stock. I will check the stock units to see if already bent but I am giving the Moog offerings a go. Non-adjustable but made from steel instead of factory aluminum. At least the end links should be relatively easy to change if need be.

What specifically actually does the clunking around if you do end up with clunking? Seems to me that even with an adjustable end link, once it’s tightened down, there’s nothing (no component or part) that would allow for any lateral movement.

its the rod end itself, often wear induced, when the joint become loose, itll make noise. Standard heims have no way to apply constant pressure to the ball as the teflon liner wears. Thats why we developed our patented Spheriflex design, small but powerful wave springs apply constant pressure on the teflon races against the ball.

Some really poor designs exceed the limit of the rod ends misalignment capabilities causing a sharp popping noise. (not as uncommon as youd think)

The usual design of adjustable endlinks use jam nuts to keep the ends locked into position, this rarely works, the lock nut often loosens which can cause an increase in unwanted noise (while yes, you are correct the ends them selves cannot come out of place), and slop.

While a nonadjustable endlink removes the ability to fine tune the rate of a sway bar, its my $0.02 that selecting the proper rate bar or an adjustable bar is a better route than an adjustable link. (at least for those that still street drive)

90% of my front & rear suspension upgrades are with Steeda components. Very good customer service; I’ve been dealing with Phillip in their Valdosta GA facility for over a year now.
There were some delays at times waiting for info, nothing crazy, but I just had to pick up the phone.
I’m looking forward to visiting them in person in May!

Any follow-up on the availability of the sway bars for shipping?
I will follow-up with my order status....haha
It now appears they have changed the status on-line. This kit is not in stock. In production, 1-2 weeks or sooner. Past experience has shown that I usually get things sooner rather than later. Such are the times we live in now.

I canceled my order. Won’t be using Steeda products anymore. Always a hassle.
I hear ya. I'm on vacation next week and headed to the Tail of the Dragon. I waited too long to order it anyways. Maybe it will be waiting for me when I get back.

Being able to zero the anti-roll bars while doing an alignment is a very worthwhile function. To your point, if a rod-end is making noise, it's time for a new rod-end.
