I'm with Sdsaathoff here, the HEP owners are obviously happy at the appreciation of their vehicles, but I don't think I've seen anyone actively attack the non HEP owners or suggest that they made a mistake by not buying a HEP. On the reverse though, a few non HEP owners seem to see it as their duty to call it a "stickers package" and express constant disbelief at what's going on with the values.

Simple truth is that all versions of these GT350s are totally kick ass. I happen to really like the color combo on the HEP, but I'd gladly drive a Twister Orange, Ford Performance Blue, Iconic Silver or Race Red one any day of the freaking week. I'm no better off for owning a HEP than any other owner.

I really don't see why so many posters here seem to think there is a "rivalry" between the HEP crowd and the non HEP crowd. We should all be happy to have had the opportunity to enjoy these cars. For the resale side, really who cares, we hopefully bought them to drive. If some guys want to spend $170k to store a HEP-R in a garage for the next 20 years, again, who cares. It doesn't devalue your experience with your car any because someone is ready and willing to pay a premium for a HEP, no matter the reason.
I almost bought a Ford Perf Blue R with 900 miles on it for 52K before I bought mine. That car is gorgeous. A friend of mine has it, and every time I see it, I love it, but when I saw the HEP R, I knew I needed it and dropped everything to get one.

If Bill Ford wants to trade for his 1 of 1 Liquid Blue GT350R, I’d be open to a conversation!

PP0001, I saw your rankings of most valuable current Gen GT350’s. It was a good list, but i am pretty sure you forgot that treasure. That’s #1 in my book!

Look at it!

That was an early rendition of the GT350R. It may have been a prototype. I believe those photos were of the cars release. They were considering the exposed carbon fiber, which obviously didn't happen. Does anyone know if that car exists? Usually, the prototypes are destroyed after development.

A buddy of mine knows some people. Word is, this is an Exec at Ford’s stash.

Notice the second car on the top row…

Cheap bastard should invest in some covers.
it begs the question, what is the last one on the top row and what’s the first one on the bottom row? The covered ones…

The hell.... That is a crazy storage warehouse. That's a personal collection?
Rumor is, that’s Bill Ford’s, so it makes sense. Who else would have the means and access to those cars.

I've seen that pic before, never looked close enough to see the car we are talking about. I think there are too many cars of the same type for that to be a single collector. Is that a Ford storage site?

Edit:
If the above is true, then I can believe that. Otherwise, I can't see a private collector collect so much of the same kind of stuff. Interesting.
