It’s got to be difficult for you guys in area’s that have to deal with the winter snow constantly. You can leave a vehicle out uncovered here for virtually ever and not see that type of rust. Now damage from iv is a different story.
Not to mention the odd sand storm. Many years ago my Dad bought a Torino in AZ. It was in amazing condition except it had sat in a carport with the front clip exposed, and consequently the paint on that part of the car was in poor shape while the rest was virtually perfect.

Very constructive comment from a classy HEP owner... Hope he can see this and feels very special knowing he has a HEP car...

lol @mk1spyder being a little cry baby in the comments. You had a bad experience. Go away now and stop crapping on this guy’s auction.

It appears there are a few over there trying to depreciate the HEPR because of trivial, childish meanderings.

It’s funny how some were saying that us HEPR owners were over on BaT inflating the HEPR prices but here come the haters. Lol.

Apparently, us HEPR owners have such power that we can move the market. Looks like we own a chunk of a crowd of haters.

Yeah. He says the side stripes will wash off if you put it through a car wash or use a pressure washer on them... That's all I needed to see.

First of all, the owners manual states that you are NOT supposed to send it through a car wash. Additionally, what kind of pressure washer is he using on it! I have a small 1800 PSI one that I use with my foam canon when I clean my cars. I would never use anything higher than that. Especially on any Vinyl striptes.

It always confuses me when people don't understand that rarity does not always equate to an increase in value. Only Supply vs Demand matters. This is the case in all things. At this point in time, the demand is on the HEP cars. This is proven over and over. One of the most rare Mustangs ever is the 1995 Cobra R. They only made 250 of them, but they don't bring the money. They did when they first came out, but they have never brought the money since. Having said that, they are the most expensive SN95 variant, but they are not the most valuable Mustangs ever. The R before it and the R after it are all more expensive.

It's odd how some of these people with non-HEP cars continue to beat on the HEP cars when they sell for more money than the others. I don't see a lot of HEP owners saying the non-HEP cars are not as good as the HEP cars. It's just weird.

For those that are interested, I just updated the price on my HEP to a much more competitive price in the classified section.

The Air Force has decided it's time for me to live in Colorado somewhat unexpectedly so I'm a much more motivated seller now.

Nice car. I take it taking it with you isn’t an option. Glws.

We're moving to Colorado Springs and the real estate market there is a bit on the insane side. I'm hedging a bit on the side of wanting a little extra cash on hand to help lock down the right place in the right location.

Spoke with a realtor tonight and it was a bit of a sobering conversation. It's going to be all hands on deck in order to fight other buyers for a property unfortunately, and getting the right house is more important to me than keeping the GT350.

Don't feel too bad for me though, I have a Royal Crimson PP2 car that will come with me out there. And god willing, I'll be able to get back into a GT350 at some point down the road, truly amazing cars with a personality all of their own.

I'm with Sdsaathoff here, the HEP owners are obviously happy at the appreciation of their vehicles, but I don't think I've seen anyone actively attack the non HEP owners or suggest that they made a mistake by not buying a HEP. On the reverse though, a few non HEP owners seem to see it as their duty to call it a "stickers package" and express constant disbelief at what's going on with the values.

Simple truth is that all versions of these GT350s are totally kick ass. I happen to really like the color combo on the HEP, but I'd gladly drive a Twister Orange, Ford Performance Blue, Iconic Silver or Race Red one any day of the freaking week. I'm no better off for owning a HEP than any other owner.

I really don't see why so many posters here seem to think there is a "rivalry" between the HEP crowd and the non HEP crowd. We should all be happy to have had the opportunity to enjoy these cars. For the resale side, really who cares, we hopefully bought them to drive. If some guys want to spend $170k to store a HEP-R in a garage for the next 20 years, again, who cares. It doesn't devalue your experience with your car any because someone is ready and willing to pay a premium for a HEP, no matter the reason.

Best of luck. I’ve had a few clients try to get me to go build homes in Colo Springs. If I wasn’t happy here I’d be there for sure.
