Got my production email today (GT, MP, AE w/ stripe and B&O) for 5/2…. Does anyone know an estimate of how long production takes

I got the same production date today. I'm pretty sure the actual build only takes a day or two. But then shipping to your dealer can be anywhere from a couple weeks to a month and a half or so. I'm expecting to take delivery beginning of June.

Thanks for the info! We live in Iowa so I don’t expect shipping to be too crazy.

Why couldn't we be able to pick them up from Flat Rock? I'd do that in a heartbeat!

The colorizer on Ford Website is pretty crappy for the purple. Looks like a blue to me. Amazes me Ford hasn’t released any quality marketing photos of the purple or green

If it's anything like antimatter blue, photos won't do it justice. With the backlog of Mustangs Ford currently has they hardly have to invest in any advertising to sell the cars they can make. Just look at how long it took to get the 2022 configurator up and running.

Or have them shipped to do the track attack in your own car. BMW has something like that with a performance center pickup.

Because a buyer that goes to the extent of collecting, would also likely be the same kind of buyer that will find all the faults, refuse pickup until they are rectified and therefore leave the problem with flat rock rather than with the dealer …

My sad, but realistic view …

Wonder if you could have your dealer arrange for pick up from a dealer within miles of the plant. Of course, that dealer would have a charge for doing that and wouldn't have to agree.

My MP GT/GS is being built on April 4th... Expected to arrive at my dealership on the 19th. Will post a ton of good pictures for those that want to see what it looks like in real life.
