Thinking of pulling the trigger on a 2015 GT. I’m thinking it is equipped with the performance package, but I’m not 100% sure. The print out that the current owner has says “high performance ls package“. Does that mean that it has the package or will the VIN number identify whether it has that option. Any other ways to determine 100% if it is indeed a pp car? Thanks.

The vin will not indicate if it has the performance pack. Look for 6 piston calipers with a brembo label on the front brakes. Also look for the 2 extra gauges above the radio between the A/C vents, non PP cars just have 3 vents. The only way to know for sure is look at the window sticker for the car in question. Also in 2015 the PP only came with a six speed manual, the automatic was not available until 17 on PP cars.

It definitely has the two gauges between the vents on the dash and is the 6 speed. Also has the strut tower which I believe is another item that comes with the pp. Not sure on the brakes as I haven’t physically seen the car (just pics). Will go look in the weekend, so want to know what I’m looking for.

Everything I mentioned can be added after the fact to mimic a PP car, but the extra gauges are the hardest to get working. If it has the extra gauges, chances are it is a true PP car. The strut tower brace is just a few bolts, the brakes are bolt on, the bigger radiator is available, the 3.73 gears are available along with the torsen diff. The only part of a PP car that is not just a bolt on is the 2 extra gauges. The only true way to verify is the window sticker. If the original sticker is gone you can get a repro window sticker from marti auto works

https://www.martiauto.com/windowsticker.cfm

You can also get a standard report from them for 20 bucks that basically gives the same info as the window sticker, and for 10 extra you can get a rush and get it same day.

Thanks for your time and reply. I’ll ask the owner if he has the dealer sticker. I know he’s the original owner and ordered to his specs. I’m guessing that you could get the window sticker from the dealer if you have the VIN?

Not anymore, you used to be able to go to a certain page on Ford's site and you could go back 3 years and get a window sticker in a pdf file but ford shut it down.

If he ordered it and he's the original owner, chances are it has the PP. Traditionally, first year cars that are ordered usually have every option under the sun, or the most desirable options at least, and the PP was very desirable in 15 as it was something new.

And if he ordered it, he most likely kept the sticker.

This site can get your sticker for a small fee.

Wasn't it around $2500 in 15? It was $2995 on my 17.

While the window sticker is the bets option, here is another thought: You could look at the Door Sticker and look at the original tire/wheel size. I have a 2017 and my Door Sticker shows tires are 255 in the fronts and 275 for the rear. And the rims are 19x9.0 for the fronts and 19x9.5 for the rears. I believe the PP only had the wider wheels. I'm looking at the manual and everything else is a 9" wheel, outside the GT350 of course

Well it looks as though it is a PP car. Owner just sent a pic of the front wheel and you can see the Brembo logo on the caliper. Also has all the other telltale signs, such as the gauges in the upper dash, strut bar, staggered wheels and tires etc. Thanks for all the replies, just have to agree on a number now. Hopefully soon. 👍🏻

From 15-17 the performance pack had 2 levels I'm not familiar with what features were added to each. Starting in 2018 there was only one performance pack and it featured all the options of both levels of performance packs from previous years.
