The purpose of the performance pack is for track use and a convertible has no place on a track. I don't care 2016 or 2030 there will not be a PP option for convertible.

I'll have to disagree with you statement that the PP is for track use, it's simply to give the GT a bit better performance all around, but if you want to take it to the track, I'm sure you'll have fun!

My driving experience with the GT with performance package... its not entirely geared towards track... it definitely feels VERY comfortable as adaily driver, handling is precise and is actually more comfortable than the 2001 Audi TT Quattro I used to own... sad I parted ways but I was due for an up to date vehicle with the fun factor in there. The handling is definitely up there with the euro cars and I feel that if you did not get it then drove one with it... you will feel depraved of the better performance... definitely less body roll and it sticks to the road like a champ... tires will also make a difference
