Mine is still factory but my car has the "Carbon Sport" package so the knob is pretty cool.

I would have kept that one too if I had the carbon package. I had the base knob and it was the first thing I changed. Classic white knob is a solid choice.

My shifter rattled and only stopped when I put pressure on it. Had it looked at, nothing was loose. The weighted knob took care of it.. only reason I did it. The rattle was driving me nuts!
oh man that’s annoying..of all things that rattle in an S550 interior, i never thought the shift knob lmao

Here's another I used. Polished aluminum. I still have it. Look for it in the member classifieds soon... 😁

Solid steel ball shift knob from Anarchy Motive (yes, that one, with all the controversial threads, but the knob is beautiful). Simple, round, heavy, with just the shift pattern engraved, color matched in Competition Orange to my car.

To me, nothing feels better than a simple, big, round cue-ball of a knob. And that's all that matters.

Lucky of you to actually get your knob from Derrick!!!

I have 3 Knobs from AM, 1st one took about 7 months, other two took over a year. What a terrible business, just lies, stalls, and deceit.

Finished products are excellent, but with such a crazy long turn around, and LARGE chance of just getting robbed, he's not worth it.

Theres a thread about his BS on DOZENS of car forums.

I've used WC Lathewerks, fantastic knobs, very prompt, great CS but doen't have the customization.

I gave Shift Solutions a chance on the Bullitt, and they did very nice work, with fast turn around and awesome CS the whole way. My only gripe (small, smol...) was that their knobs had a pressed in threadsert, not machined directly into the knob. Makes sense from a business perspective, and isn't the end of the world, but I had to nitpick about something, lmfao!!

Exactly. I also love the idea of having it in the same colour as the car.
Here's mine, from White Madness Garage. Same idea, but in Ruby Red.
