I got both of the Moderna shots. About a month ago I was admitted to the hospital and stayed about 4 days to get heart rate under control. I had arrhythmia which led to a mild heart attack. What is my next step?

Age, timeline, weight and physical condition would be meaningful. If you had the vaccine more than 30 days prior to your heart incident, you need to look elsewhere for cause. You may need to make lifestyle changes.

Otherwise, a mild heart attack is no big deal. I've had two. It won't change your life, if you don't have underlying issues. I just had my annual checkup and EKG... no issues except I'm fat!

There is a federal program set up for folks with side effects. I may be able to find the information if that is part of your question.

I also took the moderna shots and had side effects. Fortunately, not long term nor as serious as a heart condition.

I hope someone will have sound thoughts about how you can enhance recovery. Maybe the common things people do after a mild heart attack will work.

My side effects were two days of being very ill after the second shot and a cold sore on my lip. I add the cold sore because I found information that predicted things such as a cold sore and shingles as potential side efffects.

Hello; The above link describes the liability protections relative to Covid19. Pretty much we are taking our chances without recourse to get a vaccine months or years earlier than the normal approval process is my take. I took the shots voluntarily before the mandates started. Not clear to me how a medication with no liability attached can be mandated (forced) onto people. Voluntary like I did sure, but now it is mandated with severe penalties.

Hello; Turns out I was both correct and mistaken about being on our own if we take the vaccine under emergency status. I was wrong in that there is a chance for compensation if you “sustain a covered serious physical injury” and are among “certain individuals or estates”. The site is linked so you can read for yourself. I also quoted some of the text and added bold highlights. I did not find what a definition of serious physical injury might be. I will guess that the day of being very ill after the second shot does not qualify. ( Note- I would not have claimed for that anyway.)

The injury or death has to be directly the result of the covered (vaccine in this discussion) countermeasure. So I stand corrected on that part.

I was correct in that we cannot sue for damages. If the health care providers are not actually acting with “willful misconduct” they are immune from liability as long as they meet requirements.

I learned something today anyway.

I am 66 and in good condition great really. I train in the gym 3 times a week. My only worrysome condition is cerebellar ataxia which affects my speech and balance so far. It is progressive so time will tell how fast.
I got a claim with the VA about it and time will tell about that too

Are you suggesting that the vaccine caused your heart attack? You didn't state how long after getting the shots, your heart condition occurred. There are many things that contribute to arrhyhytmia and interestingly catching Covid 19 can be one of those things. I'm not a medical doctor, so don't take my word.......maybe ask a real doctor would be better and if looking for legal actions, perhaps a real lawyer may be best.

Another 3 shot Moderna guy here - which is quite rare for a Brit as it’s not popular over here.

No side effects, other than knowing my arm had been jabbed (I think that comes from having an injection rather than being vaccine specific).

Also got covid between shots two and three, but with no symptoms. Picked it up after a week of living with the other three members of my family that all had it (we didn’t take any precautions or change any habits within the household).

Omicron is going wild over here at the moment, let’s see what happens in the next few weeks / over the festive season …

I checked with my doctor which checked with a pharmisist and said in my case it did not happen from the vaccine
