You can also get a spray bottle that can be used for G2. Here is a little bit more info

G2 has specially contracted chemical engineers to research and develop our two-part paint which now offers the highest heat resistance on the DIY aftermarket (up to 980 degrees). Easily applied as a brush-on, the paint adds a great styling touch to any brake caliper ultimately highlighting already stylish show-through rims. The G2 BRAKE Caliper Paint System has many advantages over spray-type paint because it will not flake, and it dries much harder than any rattle-can product.
Features & details
  • G2 is available in 11 standard, high-gloss, wear-resistant colors
  • This top-of-the-line BRAKE Caliper Paint System Set from G2
  • The most complete and easy-to-use kit available and includes everything necessary for application
  • Not only is the G2 system attractive, but it offers great chemical and physical protection.

You still can't get a handle on the fact that not all owners are mechanics , or have done any DIY upgrades before . and what is COMMON knowledge to you, might not be to someone else.
get off your elietest high horse.
Others that do know, also know bleeders don't always play nice and open to bleed them after re install and might not want to chance that, you know those doing upgrades on cars that are not brand new or see winter roads.
Go back to your crescent wrenching ways.
Those that do know what they are doing would tell others that are planning on cracking the system open to paint parts to test the bleeder screws first, slowly and if they don't feel like they want to turn don't force them. and not that you only need a crescent wrench and a foot and a rubber blocker .
Seems you forget that not everyone is all knowing and might not also have the tools to remove/turn a stubborn bleeder screw. Not everyone has a gas wrench.
You are just being contrary.

Must be terrible to be so lacking in mechanical skills and so afraid to touch your car.

Fact remains, removing a caliper is very simple and requires a 20 dollar line wrench set (if you don't have mad crescent wrench skills). Bleeding the brakes is another simple task and does not require anything fancy or years of experience.

Whether someone wants to do it or not is another matter. It is simple though - stop trying to make it into a complicated project. Shows your ignorance actually.

How close does the G2 red match the factory Brembo red? Just need to paint my rear calipers to match my front red Brembo's.

If you can't get an answer, find a pic of a race red GT350R or GT500 and see if the car matches the calipers. If it does, order G2 Race Red instead of G2 generic red.

Personally I like the stealth grey stock calipers. People don’t even know I have brakes. Besides they go with my body paint which is stealth as well.
I'm not going to paint mine either, I'm keeping it "Original"... :crackup:
