Well yeah it is my daily and go out of town car so ... go out of town every weekend car 😆 6/7/8 hour drives each way or more if I feel like exploring or getting lost in a nice state. This is why I ride solo because I can bust a U, take another exit, drive however I wanna drive, listen to my music, and enjoy the road. I got no one to annoy me on the passenger seat or someone that nags about how I drive my car. Good times 👍🏻
Sounds like my kind of pure bliss! 😍
I wish I had nice places to drive to like that. I would be racking up the miles in that case.

What's the MAX Ford say's is OK for the Stang? .031" seems like a lot to me?
I don't know of a Ford spec. Wheel specialist said .031 is general spec for max. IOW you might feel vibration when it exceeds that.

Additional info ...
I thought my smooth riding car might have suddenly developed the dreaded drive shaft vibration. But I took it to a tire shop for a free balance check first and that's where we noticed a wobble in 2 of the 4 wheels. Then AWRS fixed them. Runout started at about .25".

These are Enkei roller forged wheels and I don't recall hitting anything.

What I SHOULD have thought of was to use my Bosch 1/4" router. It would have delivered perfect results.
Yeah I thought about that ..but just did not want to get anywhere next to the hexagon holes and accidentally cut into them . Did you do the whole entire grill?

Well I would have put on my large 5" round base. Then I would have set the cutting depth to just barely remove the backside blanked off material. And I would have left the perimeter of the area intact so as to give the base a reference plane. Then I would just saw off the remaining perimeter.

I only did this for the two end triangle areas because I installed orange BigMouth ducts. I do not believe in opening up anything more of the main grille because there is no radiator being the blank portions.

I just did not like how all the bugs would get stuck in the grill .Especially the gloss black .

This comment's been made before, but there's a LOT of us that have the digital dash and a purple/green combination cluster. It just really works!
I like that combo!

And I'm more worried about a bird, so I wanted the grid intact.

And me with a gaping hole there haha!! Currently budgeting to redo the entire nose with a Mach 1 bumper but likely years away still lol. Not super happy with how it is now but oh well.
