If no visible marks on the carbon. You are good to go. I would never give anyone advice I wouldn't follow myself. One thing you could do is buy a drive shaft safety loop for added peace of mind.
The carbon will fail before any other part of the driveshaft, I wouldn't even worry about the extra added weight of a driveshaft loop IMO.

There's no physical damage to the carbon, looks like it slid out the box, straight down onto the end.

I was expecting an increase in nvh, was hoping my sound insulation would dampen the noise down on the inside.

Put it on and send it!

I'm still waiting to hear back from CJPP, I suspect this is going to take a while and will probably result in me having to threaten them with my credit card provider reversing the transaction.

Tell them to come pick it up. Call their bluff. If they do pick it up, order from another supplier and get it via port forwarding. Ideally someone in FL I. E. Ron Fenton.

As V8_Motor said, tell them to come and get it. $200 is probably less than 15% of what you paid with shipping and all.

They would have to cover the return shipping, then send it back to the manufacturer for the adaptor to be replaced and then re-issue it into stock. $200 is not enough in my opinion.
