Losing center cluster display steering wheel controls??

Time has come to make the switch to a Sparco steering wheel with a quick disconnect, meaning I lose the ability to control the center display from the wheel. Is there any simple solution to wire the controls else where, or some other solution?

I've seen someone mount the steering wheel controls on the lower plastic below the steering wheel.
