This was a Lexus dealership so I didn't think they did a whole lot of racing stripes!

Quite honestly, It all happened very quickly and I was more interested in beating someone else to the punch on buying it that worrying about the stripes. The car is in great shape, one owner, 22K on the clock and was literally the cheapest clean one I've been able to find within 500 miles of me. I found so many that were reasonably priced only to find out they were wrecked or had some kind of title issue so it seemed wise to strike while the iron was hot. I attached the Carfax on it. I feel like I made out really well.

Dear Mr. Smaht azz.... ACTUALLY I mentioned using the dealer. THEN the OP said he was picking it up at an out of state dealer, then I said they still may be able to get it done so it was ready WHEN he picked it up. It's called a progression...

It was more than I wanted to spend (about $35K) but the way I saw it I had so much equity built in from selling my 13 and my 15 getting totalled, even if the market suddenly tanks I'll still have a ton of wiggle room.

Thank you very much rdGRG & REVTMOLO. True words you have written. After 37 years I hung up the gun belt for the last time, 3 years ago. But have my retirement Badge, but have not needed it much. Just spirited driving, nothing to get me into trouble. (very much) LOL. And thanks to POTUS 43 I am able to carry in all 50 states. It's a wonderful law he passed. Thanks again gentleman!

Sorry about that. Didn't realize you meant for law officers. Surprising you would need a law for that. Common sense says it would be additional protection for the public. Anyway I'm still waiting for a law to pass that will allow me to carry when I drive from SC to NY.
