Anyone know what this is for...?

I was changing the oil and rotating tires when I noticed a wire connector not connected to anything. I’m not sure what it’s for or if there is even anything nearby for it to plug in to. Anyone have any thoughts? It’s a 2016 GT convertible. Passenger side rear.

It’s the connector for the overhead cam muffler bearings. Find the wire from your muffler plug it in, good for 40whp

Could be optional connector for either Magneride or the BLIS system if the car doesn't have either.

I’m in for an answer as well. Have a 16 GT convertible as well. Stored for the winter at the moment so cannot check.
I can’t say that I’ve seen that on mine though.
Maybe I’ll try to crawl underneath and have a look...

Ok. Here’s what I see. I’m not sure if I was in the exact spot as you or not.
Looks like mine sort of dead heads like the nanny plug under the hood to turn off traction control etc if they’re the same plug, mine is plugged in and not open I didn’t see any other plugs nearby however, difficult to crawl underneath and wheel was still on.
Hope it helps... no answers though.

My car DOES have BLIS and adaptive cruise but NO MAGNARIDE.

Thank you everyone for the input. I do not have the BLIS or the Magnaride options. So far it is looking like it may be BLIS related. If I find any more info on it, I will be happy to share.
