My understanding is that an 01 code can only be assigned by a regional Ford rep, not by the dealer, and only under certain circumstances. If you call Ford to check on your order status, they can look up your currently assigned priority code.

That's my understanding as well. I don't believe my dealer assigned an 01 code. I think they assigned 10 -- however, what I'm saying is that the report he emailed me to show my color change having been accepted at Ford now shows an 01 code (where in a prior report it showed 10).

Thanks. That's what I was wondering, essentially. I.e., whether some regional person bumped it ahead for some reason. Perhaps I'll be getting an email update in the near term showing it bumped up sooner to production....

Hmm OK all three of us premium manual but your non HP is moved closer and our HPs moved farther... wonder if the HP is the holdup. I did hear something about it being hard to get those friggin Cup 2's.

I thought the same but i saw a guy in this thread who says he ordered a HP in june and is gettin in around july . It blew my mind. I thought they wanted to get HP's out asap coz after oct or nov they cant ship with those cup2's

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think the non-hp tires are summer only too.

Yup the non HP i think get a pilot sport 4s which are summer only . cup2's are not recommended to be stored or driven under 40 degrees while with 4s i think that number is a little lower

Yup the non HP i think get a pilot sport 4s which are summer only . cup2's are not recommended to be stored or driven under 40 degrees while with 4s i think that number is a little lower

I put the 4s tires on my HP sold the Cup 2's, the 4s will handle the rain very well and are OK for cold weather Storage on the car, I will be doing that this winter.

I guess ill be doing the same . But during peak winter i might get a winter tire and put the 4s is my basement
