Just to state a fact: I found out that all 2019 Ford's only have a single tone horn. It is not just a Mustang specific thing. I guess it was a cost cutting measure company wide?
My 2019 GT came with a dual tone horn. But it's EU spec.
Single horn has ridiculously "thin" sound for the vehicle of this proportions and capabilities.

I'd say if you check out the actual build date (window sticker will tell you) your car was probably a 2018 car. I have a 2020 UK/IRL Mustang GT but it was built in 2019 - and only has one horn

Installed my dual horn today. Have a bloody thumb and forearm to show for it, but well worth it in the end. It sounds like a real horn now and I’m glad I did it. It’s almost a “must do” for a 2019 owner. Thanks for all the advice here I was able to get it done fairly quickly and easily! Now, need band aids....

I tried to swap the horns yesterday on my 2019 Bullitt but couldn't figure how to remove the air box. Any tips on the air box removal would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ed

I installed my dual horn today. I had just enough space to replace it without removing the airbox.

Just sharing some knowledge on this. I had just put on an aftermarket K&N cold air intake prior to replacing the single horn with the dual horn part noted as: JR3Z-13832-A. I am fairly skilled & this was not an easy 10-15 minute swap for me.

I am sure most of this struggle was due to not wanting to remove the after market airbox after just installing weeks before. I ended up turning the driver side wheel to the inside and came in thru the wheel well by removing a few of the tabs that hold the plastic well & slightly prying back. I did not have to remove the airbox. This made it easy as heck with a helper hand holding the horn and bracket from above in place while I tightened down. (I believe the after market airbox was larger and maybe this was most of my trouble that maybe others didn't have.) Just wanted to share. A definite mod that has to be done.

I can't imagine anyone honking their stock horn for a rolling kick down or even using it for safety without the mod... BTW as noted on several posts and before I figured out the front wheel well entry: As cut up as I was after the job I should have probably got a tetanus shot. As many have said, if you have big arms and hands, gonna be a challenge from above...

Anyone in the West Valley of Phoenix need the dual horn setup? I bought one and never installed it....replaced the car instead with a 2021.

I’m thinking what the horn sounds lIke would last on my list of things to do. I’ve not needed it yet.
