Rear Caliper color to match PP1 Brembo’s?

Has anyone found a paint color that matches the factory front Brembo’s on a PP1 GT? I don’t want to paint the Brembo’s but id like the rear calipers to match and not be just metal color. Lol.

I’m guessing you guys in the states have the same gunmetal grey caliper we have here in Oz? If so I’m keen on finding out the colour too.

I'm not so sure that the paint will be able to stand up to the possible temperatures, since it's only rated to 500 degrees F, compared to 900 degrees F, for typical brake caliper paint.

Maybe the engine paint will work. When I was looking at temperature durability, I just looked at the VHT caliper paint and it was rated at 900. I've used the VHT paint in the past, so that is what I'm familiar with.

I tried it, and it was way too blue compared to the color of the cap.
Perhaps if I used a dark primer it would have been better.
Have since sold the car, so no pics, sorry.

Yes i did it a while back when i bought the car and this as there response:

"We do offer a custom color match program based on the exterior paint code of any make, model and year vehicle. So if there is a car that has an exterior color close to what you are looking for we can match that color for your calipers. We would need the exterior paint code for that vehicle as well as the year, make and model".

From why I understand Brembo calipers have an anodized coating that helps against corrosion and helps the paint to stick. Then they’re powder coated.

As far as colour matching Brembos exactly. Don’t bother. Get as close to the colour as you as can as the front and rear brakes aren’t side by side so your eyes won’t be able to tell the subtle difference. It’s only when something is side by side that you’ll tell the difference.
