Bought a used nav for my 19gt a few months ago and put it in, everything went well with the install. I tried Android auto and that works well. I don't really use nav but the other day while cruising I noticed my arrow for nav was facing the wrong way, it's no big deal just thought it was odd. Never heard of that. I haven't updated the nav at all its on 3.2 I believe

is it set to always have north up? Obviously if it is and you are going south your arrow would be upside down.

No, it faces opposite no matter what direction I drive.

I was driving east and it was facing west when I first noticed it. Then I tested and it definitely faces backwards no mater where I drive

Did you install the mounting metal plate underneath your GPS antenna or did you just 3M taped it on the dash?

I'm not sure what your talking about. I made all the connections on the back of the unit that were in the wiring harness, the GPS antenna is on the roof is it not?

Hmmm... I'm not sure how it is for the 2019 base to Sync3 conversion. But for mine I had to buy a new GPS antenna and mount it in place of my base antenna under the front speaker grille.

Hmm ok. Everything works properly and shows where I am correctly it's just the arrows orientation is messed up. I'll try a master reset then an update and go from there. I thought the round antenna on the roof was a GPS antenna I'm not sure why you would need another one.

That antenna is for satellite radio.

That antenna is Sat and GPS. My non GPS car had the entire thing in there and wired, only needed to be connected.
That's what I thought. All connections were there for me on my base car, pretty sure all cars have the same harness as far as the radio goes on 19
