I’m considering getting the pmas no tune intake but have questions about how it works with warranty. I know it comes with a recalibrated maf to enable it to be no tune but can Ford see that the maf was swapped out do you the values it’s reading if they go looking for it. I’ve still got warranty for quite a bit so if so I’ll just keep using the drop in I got right now.

Only the MAF is calibrated. The PCM doesn't know if it's stock/aftermarket MAF. You're GTG.

I used the no tune PMAS for quite a while and had zero issues with performance or passing inspections. I'm still running the same intake, but with a stock MAF and a tune. That's one thing I like about it. If I want to change back to the stock tune, all I have to do is put the PMAS MAF back in, return the tune back to stock, and I'm good to go.

Awesome replies thanks everyone. I decided to pull the trigger on it. Hopefully I can get to making some kind of custom box for it and doing some CFD to keep iats down. Might make a fun weekend project.

PMAS is a nice product. I’m happy with mine. I have the no tune required version too. It’s a tight fit when closing the hood. I removed my hood blanket and modified the driver’s side hood vent and fan cover to gain extra clearance.
