I thought you were happy with your dealer? What happened?Backing out has several costs for me:
1 Getting back deposit... potentially okay
2 Going to Iowa and getting from Granger... i have my car to trade in, i live in NYC, so the round trip is about 2200 miles -> a week off of work
3 Getting onto the back of the process/queue
4 Getting the title back for my trade-in as the car has a title that states the auto loan was paid but isn't "clean"
5 This is the biggest issue: My bank loan (I have the check) would have to be re-drafted and not sure how agreeable the bank would be to that

The only up side is that normally plants have a two week summer shut down some time in July and they hope to use these weeks instead. One thing for sure, Ford hates this as much as we do. They don't make money if they are not producing vehicles.

My new plates haven't shown up yet.
