When taking delivery of your Mach 1, ensure that the dealer has completed the 2021 Mustang Pre-Delivery Service Record. This document ensures that they have checked items that you may or may not be interested in but if they skip this part, they will likely miss important areas that could cause you trouble down the road. Areas specifically identified for the Mach 1 include the shipping blocks, splitter wicker, gurney flap, and wheel lip moldings (Handling Package only).

Great question and not sure if I have the answer but I suspect that if we took cell phones away from everyone while they were at work, it would solve many of these problems as it seems a text or robo call makes us lose our focus. Now what was it that I was doing a minute ago?

Even better, make the checklist a required completion before they can see anything else on their phone. Doesn't just apply to dealerships and our Mach 1s. Applies to EVERYTHING, including at least 50% of the drivers I see on the road these days. (Sorry for the vent.)

my father is the original owner of a 71 Mach 1/429 cobra jet/ bright blue metallic. Getting my own Mach is a dream come true.

In NYC, you typically don't have more than 6-10 days with snow on the ground...

In upstate its definitely more. Though mainly because we will get 3 feet at a clip and take days to clear the roads.

A solid 6 months, 7 is pushing it, don't forget to factor in the salt, in the spring a few good downpours are needed to wash the roads clean.

You better get a commuter. I grew up 5 miles from Manhattan for 30 years and live 35 miles north of that for 22 years. Some years snow is nothing and some years your screwed. No way would I ever drive the Mach in the winter. Growing up driving locally with Trans Ams, Camaros, multiple fox body Mustang ‘s, sand bags in the trunk, this time in my life never going to happen. There was one snowstorm or snow squall a couple of years ago that crippled me. Took everybody I know in my immediate 35 mile radius 8 to 12 hours to get home and that’s with me owning a 2020 JL Wrangler Rubicon. I couldn’t imagine driving a rear wheel drive. I just leased a 2021 jeep renegade as my daily driver with my beautiful toy Mach 1 coming shortly
