I used a good set of needle nose pliers and vice grips and it took me 15 minutes total to remove and install. To me there is a slight increase in pedal feel. With that having been said, my wife drove the car and didn't really notice the difference but it could be that she has only driven it twice and the time before she drove it the other day was about 8 months ago.

Do report back - I have this on my agenda to do but I'm not 100% if it's worth it. How's it removing it and installing it?

It does not cost much, it takes five minutes and, so far, seems worth it.
While my old MR2 Turbo, a car I've owned and played around with for decades now, may not be the gold standard for manual transmissions, its manual really is pretty damn good, even at almost 30 years out, and the Bullitt's clutch now feels a lot more like it. For me, that makes it friendlier, more familiar, instead of somehow not quite right, as it was before.
Haven't driven it hard yet but around town there is no question that I am finding the feel to be much more natural than before.

I took this picture for you today (3/30/2021):

Thanks! Tells me everything I need. Did they slip right on? The 3M holding them on well?

Really do appreciate the photo.

@Spacebird thanks for the parts!

Got around to installing my redline stitched console and knee pads. Matches the cali special interior nicely

I installed my new Uniden R7 radar detector. I got tired of waiting on Raidenso to come out with their new one. I got it for $347 during a sale on Amazon a couple of weeks ago; great price compared to the normal price.

Ok, full disclosure here, yesterday, I picked up my car from the parking garage I had left it at for the past week.

Someone’s gonna read this and kick me out of the club..

i miss my old mr2 turbo, Gen 3 as you would know it. Had it 15yrs before the tinworm ate it BER :( Clutch was good in that car, gearbox bullet proof!

That’s too about the tin worms. None in mine, at least not as far as I can see.

yours looks good, nice one. Mine before the rust set in a few years ago. Looks awfully like my Lightning Blue s550 I replaced it with 2 yrs ago this May (via a 8 months nightmare with a 350z)

I remember the Mister Two! Back when Toyota knew how to make fun cars on occasion. Now they have to get Subaru and BMW to do the fun parts for them...
yes sad times indeed. here's the s550 to keep things on track. Compare and contrast
