Why don't you order the Rauch and get the full warranty?

My idea is to take the $1-2k and put it in an account and name it “warranty”. Then you can do whatever mods you want and it’s still covered by your self-warranty. A short block is under $2k. Add some more cash to the account if you want more “coverage”. You’re guaranteed to not be denied!

I installed the Whipple Stage 1 Complete kit on my 2019 Bullitt. This is a direct comparison as I see you have the PP2 which has the same axle ratio and transmission with long gearing.
I installed the kit myself with the Whipple tune. My thinking was that Whipple had more to lose on their name if their supplied tune had issues.
The car made 675 RWHP SAE at 7,800 RPM with the 91 octane tune and drove better than the car did stock. It came with everything I needed to install. Excellent kit. I got it from Beefcake for $6,700 including shipping. The only thing I had to buy extra was the 10 quarts of 5-50 Motorcraft synthetic oil Whipple recommended.
The car will have awesome torque and HP most everywhere. But, it didn't fix the major complaint I had which was the poor gearing the MT82D4 transmission had. The 373 in your car is like 331 in the '17 and down which means you can have clutch slippage with sticky tires like I experienced at the dragstrip shifting from 2-3 at 100 MPH.
A much cheaper modification, and one I am already looking at for the Mach 1 ordered is to change the axle ratio. The '18 up Mustangs really can make good stock power higher than the '17 down and would love a better axle ratio. Something like 4.56. If you check on Mustang 6G you can read about folks that did this and love it. You wouldn't have engine warranty issues either.

Forget the warranty and save some money in the long run and buy the stage 2.

you will kick yourself for not doing it from the start.

With that said, both stage 1 and 2 both drive gear.

get the extra large heat exchanger and enjoy iat temps within 20 degs of ambient.

Getting close to pulling the trigger on a whipple for my 2020 PP2. I think I am going stage 1 as this car will never see the drag strip and I'm not into street racing. Just looking to add some power and do some spirited driving at times. I'll be limited to 91 octane in CA.

First, should my half shafts and clutch be ok. It will see an occasional hard launch, but I got the PP2 because I am not into straight line racing. Once moving, I do like winding her out to high rpm's.

Second, how is whipple with their warranty? Is it worth the cost?

Third, I do plan to get the extra large intercooler. Would the larger TB add any benefit? Anything else to consider? Besides the cost of the TB gets me closer to a stage 2 kit?

I know, I'll get some encouragement to go stage 2. Its not a cost thing, I just don't see myself being able to take advantage of the extra HP on the street. Go ahead and tell me why I should do it...
Halfshafts and clutch should be fine for some time, especially if your not launching at the track, thats when halfshafts break and clutches burn up.

the 18 up have a dual discclutch from the facotry.

as far as warranty, your paying around 1k for 5k in coverage, so worth it is subjective,

if your doing the larger throttle body, then you are essentially a "stage 2" kit. it will have to be a stage 2 to get the carb cert.

as far as "why" there is no why unless its what you want.

The 18 and up have upgraded half shafts in the driver's side. I doubt you need them upgraded

Has anyone went from the standard heat exchanger to the over sized one? If so, how much of a difference did you see?

I went with the upgraded oversized, but I'm still waiting for my kit to show up. For piece of mind, go with the oversized and don't wait too long on ordering since it's around 3 month wait on the whipples.

I went with the oversized LTR, from the start. It's said that the fans work good at slow driving speeds, but slows the airflow at higher speeds.

That is true but it also means that the cooling and temperatures are consistent
