I have the optional gurney flap on order (back ordered until mid Jan) but I rarely see them installed on 350s. I would love to see some pictures of members sporting their flaps lol. I am also interested in hearing opinions on the look, and if anyone has decided to leave theirs on for street use. I've also heard that leaving the flap on diminishes fuel economy and is illegal?

I like the look. Mine installed in Nov of 19 and is not coming off at this point. I have not noticed any real difference in mileage but I don't do a lot of highway driving anymore. Not illegal that I know of.

From the rear angles the flap is crazy aggressive ( I might need the 350R front splitter to complete the look) but from the front its barley noticeable. I really appreciate the pic of the 350s lined up, it really shows off how each wing design plays out on the rear of the 350. What wheel/tire and size are you running Sox3?

Going to honest (I have the swing) but the gurney flap may be designed for the tech pack? I notice gt500 guys always run their flap, but 350s not as much.

I've personally yet to come across a user who had the handling package with either car that didn't have the gurney flap installed.

I don't have any good pictures of my car yet, but Im pretty sure the flap is destroying my fuel economy. I am getting about 11 MPGs. The highest its ever been was 12 lol.

I don't see how the flap would be considered illegal.

Someone had posted the box the flab comes in says "track use only"? I also thought I had read, the gurney flap (like above) destroys your MPGs. I am no engineer, is it possible the gurney flap produces that much down force?

I am the exception.
I really notice that Hertiage cars seem to leave it off? Was there a reason you decided to leave yours off?

Not a Heritage, but I leave it off because I prefer the look without it. I've got the OEM and a CF swing. IMO the Gurney is just "too much" and adds no functional value when not on the track (or Autobahn). So, just a matter of preference. Nothing against those who prefer the look.

I have heard that the gurney flap provides about 160 lbs of down force at 120 mph. Good on the track - same reason it is recommended to remove when off the track. Personal opinion - I like the look of the swing w/o the flap.

It's because the flap actually creates drag at lower speeds from what I read, not the down force
