License plate surround/panel

Howdy,

I’m seeing quite a few carbon fiber type rear license panels for sale, but has anyone seen an offering in gloss black? My 2020 GT is magnetic with gloss black wheels, badges, deck lid etc. I’d like to stick with the magnetic/gloss black color scheme, but I can’t seem to find one of these license panels anywhere that’s not the carbon fiber style? Thanks

OK sounds like you do not want carbon fiber. This is not cheap but a great frame.

Shouldn't be too hard to find. Honestly eBay or Amazon should have the plain gloss black ones.

Hey Guys, thanks for the responses. I guess I should’ve been a bit more specific. Not looking for a license plate frame, but the panel area behind where the plate is mounted. See attached pictures. The only ones I’ve seen are the grey carbon fiber color and I’m curious if anyone has seen this piece in glossy black. Thanks.

It is. This is just a stick on cover. Have to admit I like it.

Jeff, might I suggest getting one of these and have it painted. There doesn’t seem to be an alternative.

That was the first one I saw at CJ Pony. Since then I’ve seen several others but all are the carbon fiber color. Surprised no one is offering it in the gloss black. Painting is certainly an option. Just trying to decide whether or not the CF color will look out of place against the magnetic and gloss black...?

Why not get one and see how you like the CF. Worst case is you would paint it. Best case is you would love it. Be forewarned though I understand that CF is addictI’ve. Once you start.........

I know!!! I was at the American Muscle website recently and started adding a bunch of interior CF pieces to my cart before I realized how much money I was spending and snapped out of it! Lol. Got them all saved of course and still may pull the trigger at some point!
