Considerations, wear, grip and cooler weather driving.
Pirelli P Zero PZ4 or the Michelin Pilot super sport.

I`ll be peeling off the cup 2's as soon as i get it in the garage.

I`m going to try and find a site that compares the 2.

Tire rack has a tire comparison you can use.

For people to really answer your question I think the key information is - what does "cool" mean to you.

When I owned my GT350 I used the Super Sports down into the 20s (morning) because often it would be in the 50s in the afternoon. Before there was any ice on the road I would switch to the Blizzak snow tires.

I think the new Michelin 4S has a temperature rating that would say not to do what I was doing with the old model SS tires.

The exact temperatures and driving conditions are important here. :)

Good point.
I live in Seattle so there will be no snow driving just dry winter days no rain driving, say temps around 34ish. and just spirited daily driving.

Yep stock sizes for a gt350. As far as i can tell only 2 options .
Just trying to figure out which one has the best properties.

Several tire manufacturers have been competing in the 200TW space for SCCA, NASA, and Optima. Falken, which has been a fixture in SCCA and is now a sponsor for Optima, has the Azeni S660 fitment for the GT350/R. TR rates it largely better than Cup 2s and they are quite a bit less expensive.

Jeez can't believe there isn't more news on this. I and the rest of the R camp have been waiting on a Cup 2 alternative in OEM sizing for ages. Less hard core primarily in the treadwear dept and maybe a bit better wet performance if caught out in the rain. This is primarily for a spirited street weekender use case.

The RT660 appear better than the SC2 in both wear/wet. Only downside is apparently ride quality/noise.

My current PS4s in 305/325 are great but the rounded rear end poke in 325 drives me nuts. 305s in PS4 are a bit too small. I wouldn't mind a more hard core tire. The SC2s appear to last about ~6k on the street. The PS4s about 30k. If the Falkens can hit 15k and be cheaper than both PS4s/SC2s... I found my next tire.

Tire rack may not have them in stock. Looks like Falken does make them per their site. No 305/35 though?

I'm considering the Bridgestone Potenza as a replacement to stock PS4's. How long have you been on them? Any complaints? Thanks,
2years on my current car, great tire. They actually hook in third gear in this weather with 750 whp.. 1st and 2nd is spin city. I’ve been using bridgestones on other cars i had in the past never had an issue with them.

Thanks for the reply. I am waiting on a set of PS A/S 3+, but they are backordered at least a month. May pull the trigger on the Bridgestone soon. My stock PS4's are about worn out at 34k miles
