Pics on the drive, then goes in the garage! :) One of our cars stays out but it's a borderline beater.

I really like those gray/silver stripes on the white. Ordered that way or did you do it yourself?

I am among you that lives outside. Momma gets the garage, and I really like being married.

My Mustang and BMW are in the garage...My wifes BMW is outside in an uncovered parking bay just off the main driveway (so not blocking in/out of garage).

I always laughed at people who keep their crap and their garage and their car outside.
Similar feeling, but I don't laugh. Rather, I feel sorry for the kids that will probably continue the same hoarding mentality, and do the same crap when adults. We downsized to our current modest house (nice neighborhood), and probably 9 out of 10 houses have their garages full of crap. Maybe 1 or 2 of those left space for 1 car (barely), or some exercise equipment. But the great majority have the entire garage full of crap. And I mean FULL. Ha ha.

I built a large, one and 1/2 story lawn shed of about 320sq ft, a detached, enclosed screen porch of about 160 sq ft, a 500 sq ft deck and a 200 sq ft patio, with lots of decorative Rubbermaid storage units on deck and patio. Plus my garage is about 2 3/4 size. I've got more room for stuff outside than I have inside my house. But, third car still sat in driveway.

Mine lives under a carport - unfortunately. I sure hope to have a garage for it someday.

That somehow seems backwards, car will rust rubber will not. LMAO

I always laughed at people who keep their crap and their garage and their car outside.
When the garage for a floor plan designed in the 1960's isn't wide enough to open both doors on a 2-door car, and you've got stuff in the garage that can't be kept outdoors or in a shed, you don't have much choice. Three roll-around tool boxes, a drill press, some welding equipment, and the benches to work on aren't going outside just to squeeze one car (out of four in the driveway currently) inside. A basement shop wouldn't work for car projects even if my house had a basement.

When I see pictures of a garage with nothing in it but the car(s), it looks like the garage belongs to somebody who writes a check for everything they want done . . .

All three cars are garaged, no choice here. Leave a car outside and the Oklahoma weather will literally beat it to sh!t. Lost my daughter's car earlier this year to four inch hail.

Does that apply to a garage with nothing but the cars and a 2-post?
No, but that would have me asking why there isn't more shop equipment and why the tools aren't being kept near where they're going to be used.

In your situation I completely understand. Most people’s garages though could be organized to put all the stuff in a fraction of the space. I have built a shelf system the utilizes cheap Walmart bins. A 8x8 shelf and hold 40 bins. I love shelves. Here is one of the ones I built at my shop.

This is the 16x10 version.
If I took everything out of my garage that wasn't bolted to a wall (ex-kitchen cabinets make pretty good storage units, too) or the upright freezer at the back wall, and you cut that unit off flush with the fourth shelf up, you *might* be able to lay it flat in my garage and shut the door. "Might" isn't a guarantee, either . . . 7.5' x 16'-ish clear space for a car with a 90" ceiling, plus a small original work area off to one side.

Is there any pleasing you Norm :giggle:
Sure - if you're going to use it as a shop from time to time, what's wrong with letting it look a little more like one? Even fairly busy shops can be kept reasonably neat.

I wish I could keep all the damn leaves from blowing inside mine when the big door is open, though. Especially this time of year.

Ouch that’s painful. I feel for you.
Forgot to mention the 4' LED shop lighting, the electric pole saw, various cord reels, and the extension ladder that claim up to 16" off the top of that ceiling height. Even the ceiling is fair game for storing and hanging odds and ends. There's some rifle cases that sit out of the way on top of that ladder, so even when the ladder is idle as a ladder it's still being used.

I personally wouldn't have bought this car if I couldn't keep it in my garage.
