We just got back from the Charlotte track attack. They had one velocity blue and one grabber lime GT500 with some of the Anderson Composites/Ford Performance carbon fiber parts. All were super stiff (especially the hood vent) and looked very good. The front bumper cover was really good looking and you could see if from a mile away.

Diel: AC's stuff is beautiful, no doubt about it. However, they have taken so long to bring most of their products to market that other possibilities have surfaced. You may have seen the thread on Terrance's foray into a CF vent. I think his design is superior to the OEM vent and I am excited to see what his magic can produce.

I have messaged T about his, I agree 100% with you KB. To tell you the truth, I bet Anderson still has more testing to do since Ford Performance will be selling them. They might take forever and when released, will most likely run a super high price. But it was good to see how stiff the parts were, and like you said, they looked beautiful.

D: The coolest thing Terrance came up with was putting the support below and IMHO, the aestheitcs are far superior to the OEM design that obviously, AC copied to match. And for sure, as you said, it will STILL be awhile before the AC vent comes to market. I'd kinda like to have one now and Terrance came to the rescue so I'm super excited.

I have as well. Im tired of waiting for Anderson. Same answer since May. Terrance has been great to work with on my wheels

I wonder how that decklid finish plate will be sold? The emblem is plastic welded on the OEM. I know that one of our members was able to remove it so that Xpel could be done, but it was reported to be a bitch of a job. If it follows any trend that Ford has set for pricing, it will most likely be very expensive.

In my opinion, the carbon fiber track pack cars should have come like this. All those carbon accent pieces would have set the base and CFTP cars further apart. And yes, I would have paid more for it.

One of the mechanics said the decklid came with the emblem. But being a test part, not sure if that's the way they will sell it. Yeah, I see the price being way high like you.

And that is the problem. They will price it through the stratosphere because of that emblem. Anderson Composites already makes a CF finish panel without the emblem and I think its not very expensive. Throw an emblem on there and it will be priced to keep the posers away.

The one for my 2017 is like you said, no emblem. On the Mustang GT I'm ok with it, on the Shelby I need the cobra or I'll leave it alone.

I have a spare emblem that I am messing with. I painted it, but wasn't happy with the way it turned out. I will give it another try when I get some time.

What I did notice is the CF is visible on the sides too when looking in.
