I love seeing people on Facebook I got my car tuned they turned all this stuff off. Or diesel guys I got it deleted you just told the world you broke laws. Then person complains stupid rotten people turned me in. NOOOOO you was waving your hands in the air telling GOV what you did look at me look at me. Basically told on yourself and now crying about it. I have pointed this out to people reply back is cool story bro WOW. People don't get it SHUT YOUR HOLE. Many business, tuners and owners have been busted because of social media and they do watch forums too.

Still there might be more left on the table with a true dyno tune with your car.

With lund tune you should not, but you can ask them. They will know.

Gov does thats who and putting off road only doesn't cover their rear either. Gov doesn't need street or location they have other means for find you. Everything digital has footprint and can be followed back to you. We have in my town shop was deleting diesel engine emissions. 1st time it was listed on their website got in trouble. Removed that from website and got caught again 2nd time because of Forums, Facebook and Twitter. Wonder if they will try for 3rd time they have been good for year now. Most are caught not because someone snitches on them they do it to themselves

As someone who works for the government..i can assure you they do not have people patrolling every forum for cars without cats.

You're talking to someone who has worked for the government in cyber security, ethical hacking, network administration, and a couple others, im aware of the "digital" world.

I now have a different current career with the government i wont go into, but i can assure you that you can rest peacefully at night knowing no one is searching these forums and all other forums and posts..for catless cars.

Yes offroad does matter, if if is a vehicle that is not for street use. What do you think it means?

Being an alabama resident stationed in california allows me to register my car through alabama, who does not do smog checks. California you cant really legally change much at all on the car..lol. some even get mad for a CAI.

"California, where you can legally change your gender but not your exhaust". Fortunately, ill be leaving soon.

More as computer program that filters certain things looking for people who are behind removing emission devices/controllers/parts and tuning. They don't go after car owners in most cases again EPA hits people who are doing tuning and deleting unless car owner does it all the time. So most are not caught by snitches as you say.

Ok. Yes, there are keywords that trigger a system. But not someone constantly monitoring. Thats all i was getting at. The parameters depend on the keywords that are used.

I assumed you knew what offroad meant (and you do) and yes, when i mentioned the offroad part, i was referring to people that actually use them offroad. ie not on the street. So we have no disagreement there and even said it was dumb to broadcast you are street driving a vehicle like that on say..facebook. i put quotes around snitches, its not my word, sorry my failed attempt to go back at what term you used correlated to me saying snitches.

Yes, there are things that are watched, and yes, dont be stupid posting things on the internet. Some things are monitored more closely than others. Cat deletes generally arent high on the list.
