Wildhorse, yep sure, some buy cars as test mules. But they don't buy every version of said car. They buy PCM's.

Just good business practice.

Many don't even buy PCM's they just find the different OS strategy's.....

If they are catless, yes you will need a tune, oops forgot it is illegal to turn off the check engine light for missing rear O2 sensors.

Still will need the O2 sensor delay reset.

Since its a big name tuner that is very popular and multiple posts of it being tuned out...i think you are misinformed.

You think places will sell aftermarket cats (illegal to modify cats at all)and non catted headers...for offroad use..but a place wont tune for the same? Silly logic

Call any tuner and ask if they will turn off a CAT efficiency CEL.

A good number have been slapped with LARGE fines, starting with Harley Davidson.

It really started with the AzzHoles with diesel trucks rolling coal.

Yes. Didnt i mention that? Or did you not read it? And you dont think you can have a tune considered for off road use?

Like i said. You are misinformed. A little searching will show you can get it tuned out. No fines charged to those companies than ive heard of and i doubt they would routinely do it if they did.

Actually k4..we may be arguing different things.

Cat removal can be done while keeping the rear o2 sensors. And the CEL can be tuned out.

Ahh yes haha. In my neck of the woods they only do a visual and a sensor readiness test. That's it. So my rear o2's need to be there.

If you’re tuned by Lund you don’t need a re-tune.
