Whipple is full of shit, today is 12 weeks Ive been waiting( ordered May 25th) Mine is shipping today and Jared/Nick at Lethal have done everything they can to get it here. If its gonna take 3 months to manufacture, then they need to tell their distributors that.

Wow! That is really crappy of whipple to do that to their distributors and customers like that. I had been told the same exact thing by whipple , all of their orders ship within a 7-8 week time frame and if I wanted any shipping info on my order I had to call who I ordered from. I dislike liars about as bad as I do a thief. Sorry for calling so much TEAMBEEFCAKE.

First I am someone who also ordered my Whipple through Beefcake on May 24 and am still waiting for it. I understand everyone's frustration and have a little of my own, but I can't see blaming anyone for it. I am sure on May 24 the lead times were 6-8 weeks, however, given all the supply chain issues due to the current situation it doesn't help. Couple that with a sale on Memorial day and people getting free $1200 covid checks (I was not one :crying: ) it would make for an easy situation to sell more than anticipated. Once the housings were gone (which is what they were waiting on) you are now at the mercy of the supply chain and the wait time expands out. It is what it is and my car will get done when it does.

Im not mad at anyone, but when I order something and am told 4-6 weeks. I expect it in 4 -6 weeks. If it was gonna take 3 months, then tell me 3 months. If its gonna be a year, tell me a year. Thats a small expectation I believe.

It is what it is but they could have been straight up with people and said we have orders here over 12wks old but we’re doing our best Instead of leading them to believe they didn’t have any over 8wks old.

I was seriously considering Whipple for my winter build project but between these issues and the other recent threads about tune and parts issues not getting resolved, plus the Whipple reps being oddly quiet - I'm thinking a lot harder now on a different setup. Nothing is scarier than dishonesty when it comes to money. I used to run a business and if something unfortunate happened I was always transparent. It didn't happen a lot, but shit happens no matter what - just be transparent, the customer deserves it.

Just got my tracking information from beefcake. Will be here Thursday. Thanks Terry.

@XS that is the problem with the internet you only see bad. For every 1 complaint there are 100s of compliments you will never hear about. Even knowing that there is FAR more good you hear about whipple than bad. This is my first whipple and I am looking forward to it. I am not happy with the time, but given situation you should give them some slack.

I’m at my wits end with Whipple and this. What would you guys do? Beefcake says Whipple isn’t returning his emails or calls on my blower.
Cancel the order and get a Hellion top mount through Terry. That’s what I would do.

Terry is the man. Enjoy your new setup!
Well, we should be on the final Chapter of this. :) Terry from Beefcake understood my anger at Dustin Whipples lies and canceled my order for me allowing me to Purchase another brand Blower.

Beefcake has a customer for life.

Just a comment. Having been in several businesses all my life, starting with working for my Dad since the age of 7 and then working for 2 fortune 500 companies, owning 2 different businesses, teaching, etc. I have to say that tough times separate the so-so companies, the good, and the truly great companies.

Truly great companies see things like Covid as an opportunity to show their commitment and superiority compared to the competition. From what I am seeing, Whipple has not done a good job. This is one of the best supercharger companies in the world with a long history.

Competitors like Edelbrock, Procharger, Roush, etc. should pay close attention. If they are not, they will never be great companies. If they are smart and paying attention they can learn from Whipple's mistakes and seize the opportunity to provide a better product with better service.

A reasonable person can forgive mistakes if true humility and an honest effort to make a wrong a right result. But, deliberate lies and dishonesty is the absolute acid to success. If this has occurred trust is gone. Who then will go to them?
