I understand that, I was just giving my opinion based on my previous experiences with these kits and the op saying he would like to be at 750whp. I too would go with the d1x knowing I would want to eventually turn it up.

Yeah guys i hear you, but the op wants to turn it up later because he knows he’ll want more. Its his choice regardless of your opinions..
Its all opinion based. Some based on facts more than others. Bright side is he's getting a Procharger!

Planning for the future is good too, as long as it's known that the smaller blowers at 750whp will perform better.

P1x cause of more midrange and efficiency at 750hp. You can still go up from there, but hey...

Fast forward 6 months. " Installed Procharger D1x, 4.88 pulley, dissapointed in the low to mid range, might go whipple"
That’s bad. What’s worse is that they put a new blower on and they proceed to badmouth the Procharger in every Facebook post for the foreseeable future.

Thats a huge pulley to be running on the D1X, need to pulley down to like a 4.25 so you're actually getting the blower into its effeciency range. I have a 4.25 pulley on my D1SC and it has plenty of midrange power

That's why the comment was funny dripping with sarcasm.

What blower and pulley combo are you running?
I took the comment as poking fun at someone who would talk down the d1x for having a soft mid after pulleying down too far and then going with a Whipple because of it. If I misinterpreted that then that is my fault.

This kinda goes back to why we mentioned the p1x is the way to go for these cars and the power the op is looking for. You don’t have to pulley down for the blower to be more efficient in the mid range. My estimation is a d1x with a 4.25 is good for over 800 on pump. So now your blower might be in it’s efficiency range but your motor is on burrowed time.
