I got my car with a D1SC already installed (2016 auto). I went to change the oil for the first time and expected to find the drain tube behind drivers side headlight next to the air filter. Instead it was zip tied to the middle of the k frame. I clipped the zip tie and was going to re route it. But, it looks like it will chafe and pinch the tube.
I need installation instructions or maybe pictures of how the drain tube is supposed to be routed. I can't find anything online. Can anyone help?
Thank you.

I don't think there is an official placement for the drain tube. I just used a zip tie and tucked it against the k member so it didn't flap around. Zero issues.

I feel as long as it's away from belts that could rip it or hoses that could heat it up, it's safe. On my paxton, I have mine routed to the outside of the passenger frame for easy access.

Agree with above. There's no "official" placement other than near the headlight. Secure it anywhere away from moving parts and make sure it cant flap around.

Im going to drill two little holes and zip tie mine to the belly pan so I can access it by removing the three pop clips in the drive front fender. Anywhere out of the way and not flapping around works.

My drain tube is right down by the oil filter and belly pan flap. Been down there for 15K miles.

Change the PC oil the same time I change my oil and filter. Changed everything yesterday with no issues.
