the Mach1 wheels are not unique. I've seen that pattern before. Can't recall where...
The HRE HF11 comes close in how to make a gratuitously visually busy wheel.

Even those wheels, while busy, have the visual appearance of the minor spokes coming off perpendicular to the hub because the pattern is symmetrical, essentially half way between the major spokes. Those also aren't factory wheels. The Mach 1 wheels have the minor spokes coming off the hub at an angle.
I don't think he was saying they were exactly the same, just equally busy. I love the subtle spoke offset of the Mach 1 wheels. If you ignore the....sub-spokes??? I'm going to call them sub-spokes, but if you ignore those, they're actually the PP2 5 spoke wheels. The sub-spokes are an optical illusion to add depth and complexity. That's one of the reasons I'm drawn to them. It's a clever wheel.

Now I just need them in gloss black to go with my orange Brembos.

Yeah, good points. They are also interesting in that on the main spokes, at the end of the "forks", each fork tip is different - there's a wider, flat tip, and a narrower tip. Lots of interesting stuff going on to make it an interesting wheel.

I think it's the best wheel Ford has done recently sans the Lincoln products.

They are the 6 piston PP brakes. Get me a quote on a set of gloss black like the Mach 1 wheels and we can talk. Lets do 19 x 10 in the front and 19 x 11 in the back. We can talk about offset afterwards.

I don't like them. Not that it matters, because I don't expect much price advantage over a GT350. And I would take the GT350 in that case.

But more importantly, I wouldn't count on the wheels from a prototype being the final choice.

and who gives a flying squirrel what some blind designer put on the car. Factory wheels are rarely worth keeping. At least GM is smart enough to offer some actual options. Even if they are badly designed and so have structural issues...

The Mach 1 wheels are definitely pretty cool. I've not seen an asymmetrical design like this before on wheels; where the minor spokes are at a different angle than then main spokes. SVE (from LMR.com) makes some pretty nice Ford replica wheels for a fair price - I'd contact them to see if they have plans to make the Mach 1 replicas. Their wheels are lighter than the factory wheels, too. I just bought the SVE R350 19x10 wheels, a GT350R replica wheel (although not in CF, obviously). They are NICE, and only 24 lbs (compared to the factory PP1 wheels at 33 lbs). Here's a pic from when I unboxed them to inspect. They are going on the car on Friday, along with my factory Michelin PS4S tires. I'm stoked.

Love this car too - especially the wheels - great overall look and stance - hopefully knock offs soon...
Why not let me make you a One piece forged wheel ? I can. The last set I made in 19x10 and 19x11 weighed 21lbs each. Or you can get a cast replica and cheap tires for $800 bucks
Let me know. [email protected]
